To take advantages

Sensors Network DresdenNetwork for development and marketing of complex sensor systems for Structural Health Monitoring:

Going up energy prices and increasing competition cause in all industrialized countries a rising need for effective usage of material while the demand for safety and comfort is growing as well. Integrated systems for structural health monitoring will be an essential part of technical equipments as aircrafts, buildings and industrial plants. They optimize the operation of the systems monitored concerning energy and costs.

To develop solutions

The integrated monitoring of complex systems requires considering a variety of condition parameters concurrently. Proceeding from the development of single-parameter sensor systems to integrated multi-sensor solutions, it requires a broad spectrum of competencies and know-how.

To bundle competencies

In the region of Dresden, a broad spectrum of new enterprises and research institutions exists, with their activities ranging from sensors, electronics to software development. These individual components will be combined within the frame of the Sensors Network Dresden, forming a powerful, regionally rooted supplier of complex multiparameter sensor systems.
